Every athlete and band member is required to upload a Birth Certificate for “proof of age.” Age is used to ensure eligibility, it is NOT used for team placement.
Question: If I am the same age as my friend, can I play with that group?
Answer: Only if you are both in the same grade, as determined by your School and Report Card.
Question: Why would a player have the same age but not be in the same grade?
Answer: There could be several reasons, but some of the most common are that one student may have started school early (or late), skipped a grade or repeated a grade. Regardless of the reason, every player participates in their designated grade as determined by their local school.
